Ari Daily

Growing up in the late '80s, early '90s, headnoddin' to hiphop beats, that is how it all started for Ari Daily. The love for music and especially the love for the beats and breaks which he is playing now in all its forms. In 1998 he started playing techno, electro, breaks and grooves at vague and rare parties at the most strange places. This resulted in gigs at clubs like 013 (Tilburg), Doornroosje (Nijmegen) and De Rechter (Eindhoven), as well as the Spacestock dance festival in France.

Nowadays he is the resident and promoter of Shine Indoor Sessions at de Rechter. Shine is well-known for its outdoor festival every summer at the city hall square in Eindhoven. Its a festival for proper and cutting edge dance music. At the Indoor Sessions Ari Daily hosts the Digital Funk room, a hybrid between driving breaks, funky electro and twisted house. He has played along the likes of Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Spacid and Andy Mac.

Da Huge

Da Huge deejays monthly in The Spock, the club in Breda where DJ Tiesto started his deejay career. He is also active as a producer. Right now he is working on some breakbeat and triphop tracks with turntablist / producer DJ Mace.

He is also the driving force behind the Dutch e-zine frshdjs.com, already three years old. Da Huge has interviewed many national and international artists in house, drum 'n' bass and hiphop music.

Da Huge has been musically active since 1994, first as an MC, B-boy and DJ for groups such as Dutch Open, Mystical Matterz and Bockerijmers. He has played with acts such as Postmen, Extince and Osdorp Posse. When he later met up with guys like Dazzle, Montana and Cor Fijneman, he got in touch with house music.

Inspired by the sounds of artists like Armand Van Helden he decided to bring the funk into the faster dance music. These influences can still be heard in the style Da Huge now plays: Breakbeat.

Playing regularly in The Spock (Breda) as a back-up DJ for Mark Green, he has developed a unique style with different flavours, from techhouse to french nu-disco. . In a few years he has proven to be an entertaining DJ with gigs all around the Netherlands (Breda, Amsterdam, Tilburg, Rotterdam, 3FM, Dancenetfm.com, Kink FM) and France (Ile D' Oleron, Argeles Sur Mer, Morzine).
