 Since
september 2001, HansaBlast hosts eastern Holland's only
breakbeat extravaganza: Candy Club at Arnhem's Goudvishal.
The nite is well-known in all of the breakbeat scene
of The Netherlands, 'specially since just about all
of the Dutch hotshots have taken their records there,
like Chamelian, Smitten and Loes Lee.
HansaBlast has decided that the time is right for breakbeat
to move into bigger places so he's now looking for larger
venues to stage his parties.
In the summer of 2002, Holland's leading dance music
mag, BG
Magazine, asked HansaBlast to do reviews for them,
so keep an eye on those pages in the middle of the mag
for breaks reviews! And keep watching his own website:

a party collective to promote breakbeat music. After a year
the collective split up and Mikenzo carried on with the Big
Time Beats site. The site slowly developed into a Dutch breakbeat
e-zine. Beside the site Mikenzo also keeps spinning breaks
all over the country.
After
the renovation of the Simplon is completed in April 2002,
the Zap Club will start back up, every Friday in 2 rooms with
lots of top breakbeat DJs! Until then, check out the Zap Sessions,
Wednesdays @ De Kar in Groningen.
