Out of Order

A weekly breaks party, every Friday nite at Lounge in Melbourne starting December 7th, 2001!

For us, broken is good. Real good. We're a fan of all kinds of breaks - commercial breaks, bone breaks ... hell, even disc brakes. If it is broke, then don't try and fix it. And there's nothing we like more than a good solid sessions of broken beats to start the weekend, each and every Friday.

And on Friday December 7, Fridays will become Out Of Order ... with only the most broken, smashed up breaks delivered piece by piece straight to you. It's rump food for the jiggy cats. Beat science for those who like to leave their lab coats in the lab. It ain't brain surgery ... it's simply the freshest breaks, served weekly with a sprinkling of the unexpected.

Resident beat technicians Paris, Nick Thayer, Ben Shepherd, Khalil, Alias, The Hound, Ides, Lynt, Dan Mangan and Keltec tear it up on rotation every week, with monthly live resident EK pushing all the right buttons. Plus visuals by Campbell and VJ co-conspirators the Sex Pixels. And everyone who comes correct to opening night gets a free Out Of Order mixed CD! Have mercy! And how much? Just $7 on the door. Too easy.

Where? Lounge. When? Every Friday beginning December 7 with DJs Paris, Alias, Dan Mangan and Ben Shepherd. Plus every person through the door gets a free Out Of Order mixed CD with cuts from Player One, Rennie Pilgrem, Basement Jaxx, Azzido Da Bass, BLIM, Stanton Warriors and more.
