[February 2001] Dave London has become a household name in the Florida breakbeat scene. He's an artist and deejay who also finds time to run his own label, Yes Mate Recordings. Originally from the UK, Dave has been based in Orlando, Florida for the past decade. He produces breakbeat and hard house under various names like Junior Camp, whose "Clap Your Hands" single on Tripoli Trax debuted at #7 in the UK national sales charts. He's also racked up a long list of remixes including Sonique - "Feels So Good", Deejay Punk-Roc - "Blow My Mind", Mike & Charlie - "I Get Live" and Cotton Club - "Nu Jack". A few years ago, Dave launched Yes Mate Recordings. The label has released tunes by Dave London, DJ 43 and DJ Infiniti among others. Last year Yes Mate released Waveform's "Deep Dubz" in the USA. The tune came out on Rennie Pilgrem's TCR label in the UK originally. Recently Dave London mixed the third CD in the "Orlando Breakz" series showcasing the city's breakbeat sound (sorry our competition to win a copy is now closed).
